  • Minced beef(15% fat) 600.0 g
  • Knorr Smoke Intense Flavours 2.0 tbsp
  • Knorr Beef Bouillon Powder 2.0 tbsp

Cheese Sauce

  • Knorr Cheese Sauce 300.0 ml
  • Grated Red Cheese 100.0 g

Guinness Onions

  • White onionsfinely sliced 350.0 g
  • Guiness 1.0 can
  • Knorr GF Gravy Granules 30.0 g

Smash Burger Method

  • Minced beef(15% fat) 600.0 g
  • Knorr Smoke Intense Flavours 2.0 tbsp
  • Knorr Beef Bouillon Powder 2.0 tbsp

Rooted in classic comfort, the smash burger elevates familiar flavours by incorporating Guinness, adding depth and richness to the beef patty while maintaining the satisfying simplicity of a burger.

Preparation

  1. Burger Prep

    • Mix thoroughly together & divide into 4 evenly sized balls
  2. Cheese Sauce

    • Make 300ml of Knorr Cheese Sauce & add 100g of grated red cheese until completely melted & keep warm
  3. Guinness Onions

    • In a little oil fry the sliced onions until deep and dark brown
    • Add the Guinness and reduce until almost gone
    • Stir in the gravy granules until the mixture is thick and glossy & keep hot
    • Season with more Knorr Chicken Bouillon Powder
  4. Smash Burger Method

    • Add a little oil to a hot frying pan or flat griddle
    • Add the beef balls and smash then down as hard as you can
    • Cook until nicely caramelised on one side before turning and repeat on the other side until the edges start to crisp a little
    • Toast 2 Burger buns on the cut side only until golden brown
    • Pace a patty on the bottom of each burger and spoon a generous amount of Guiness onions on top.
    • Place the 2nd patty on top of the onions and top each with the cheese sauce
    • Close the burger with the top part of the bun before serving.
